CIFEJ General Assembly and 50th Anniversary

CIFEJ's General Assembly will be hosted by KANOON, the Institute for Intellectual development of children and youth.

CIFEJ members intending to attend will find the necessary information herein.

Registration form: the registration form should be completed, signed and returned to the Montreal Secretariat as soon as possible. Please also e-mail, for your accreditation, a color photo of yourself to intl_affairs@jamejam.net

Accommodation fees and meals: CIFEJ members will be hosted by KANOON for their accommodation and meals.

Registration fee: There is no registration fee for CIFEJ members, but 100$ US will be charged to non-members attending the General Assembly. Fees can be paid in cash only in Tehran, either in US dollars or in EUROS.

Travel expenses: All delegates must pay their own travel expenses from their respective country to Teheran, Iran (the airport is Merabad Airport, and the airport code is THR). KANOON will take care of travel to and from the airport and the Hotel. Please advise KANOON of your flight schedule.

Visa: Each member is responsible for getting his/her visa to enter the host country. Both the Secretariat and the host will provide you with official letters of invitation. Each member has to fill up the attached VISA ENTRY FORM, and send it back to KANOON at intl_affairs@jamejam.net or by fax to + 98 21 897 1387

Participation in the General Assembly: Only CIFEJ members whose dues are up-to-date for 2005 have the right to vote (see Statutes Article 7.2, and Bylaws Article II-2.3). Fees can be paid in cash only in Tehran, either in US dollars or in EUROS.

Proxies: Fully paid members who are unable to send a delegate to the General Assembly may give a proxy to another fully paid member to vote in their place. Please consult the Web site for the list of fully paid members who will attend the GA. This proxy must be sent in writing to the Secretariat by May 25th at the latest.

Elections: Please consult the Web site for the list of members running for election or re-election to the Board of Directors, and for information regarding each candidate.

Statutes and Bylaws: Please consult the Web site for the text of the 2002 Statutes and By-Laws and the proposed modifications (as per Article 11.3 of our Statutes and By-Laws)
