Film Festival for Children and Youth of Cartagena, is held every year in September and this year reaches its 18th version, it is of age.
This time to celebrate 18 years, the festival will invite young people and children that have already  participated in previous festivals of the Festicinekids, to join us and tell their experience and how their participation changed them life and allowed them to enter the world of cinema.
In this Festicinekids 18, we will have several guests and special juries, including the Colombian director, writer and filmmaker Victor Gaviria, who with his famous film "The Rose Seller" was in many international festivals, including "Cannes Film Festival" Victor, is characterized by awakening talents from people living in his city passing through difficult situations, which reflected in his productions.
Another special guest is Caramelo, a talented girl, finalist in the reality show "The Voice Kids" and who will be with us in the group of jurors Kids because she has experience in front of cameras and media and is a movie lover.
During the week of the festival, which will take place from September 20th to 25th, free movies will be offered in all theaters of the city, artistic makeup workshops, press conferences, tributes and film appreciation workshops and for closing the festival, there will be a bike tour around the city with juries and special guests, for all sites in Cartagena where productions have been recorded, one of these, "Love in the time of Cholera"
Many surprises have the Festicinekids 18 for those who want to participate.
This year we will have short and feature films in competition from countries like the United States, Colombia, China, Mexico, Argentina, Spain …
