Congratulations on the beginning of the New Year and the lovely Christmas. We are at the end of the year 2018. One year passed alike last year and other past years.  A year with its happiness and sadness, successes and frustrations, and our long wishes. Was one day added to our life or one year of our life was reduced?
The year 2019 and the years after it will come and go so rapidly and these are just the opportunities that are available to us to use them or to waste them. There is a proverb in Persian language that says: “Opportunities are like a cloud or a breeze; we should find out them”. And we, as the members of the big family of CIFEJ with more than 120 members, have great and accessible ideals for the children and young adults‘ cinema, and we should reach to at least some of them while we are hands in hands.
I hope that the new year can be the year of more happiness and success for you and your families and we can see each of you in the next CIFEJ General Assembly which will be probably around the end of 2019.
