The Iranian Film “Doch” won CIFEJ Prize in the 49th Roshd International Educational Film Festival which was held from 15 to 22 of November 2019 in Tehran, Iran. The film has been written and directed by: Amir Mashhadi Abbas and has been produced by the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (Kanoon).
The film tells the story of a boy named Gholamreza, who due to his father’s poverty and financial difficulties cannot change his bike to win a race with the train, is trying to earn money and buy a new bike. Finally, he finds a way to get a bike.
